Event Info
What do you get from a touring party which includes a retired American couple disenchanted with Australia, two adventurous Swedish women out for a good time, an Aussie farmer, a man of few words, and his talkative wife and a couple of feuding young backpackers? A holiday to end all holidays!
This funny play, set in the Kimberley region of West Australia, is about a group of tourists who, by chance, arrive at the same time in the small town of Kununurra. They share a number of guided tours which invariably end in chaos as they try to deal with each other, the environment and the tour company's bus drive - a volatile, emotionally unstable Scotsman prone to unpredictable behaviour toward people and events.
George White directs a talented cast of twelve in this Kimberley adventure.
Special Event Info
The play will be staged in two locations - Act 1 in the Main Auditorium of the Subiaco Arts Centre, and after interval, Act 2 will be staged in the adjacent theatre gardens. Patrons will need to bring something to sit on to watch Act 2 e.g. cushions/rugs/low-back chairs.
