Written by a woman, to be performed by women, Deckchairs is full of life and vitality that will appeal to everyone. Set by the seaside these four plays take a humourous, poignant and often compassionate look, at the many facets of modern life and relationships. The well defined, interesting characters are colourful, animated but above all truthful.
Performed by four extremely talented actresses Sue Lynch, Ann Speicher, Nicola Bond and Joan Scafe, Deckchairs is a production that will touch your emotions and should not to be missed. Follow the adventures of Marion and Deborah as they discuss their unusual sisterhood, Pascaline and Maggie as they compete in a theatrical battle of wits, Miss Westlake and Julia as they discuss their shared past and finally, Beryl and Doris on their absolutely hilarious work’s outing.
