We celebrate with Konstantin Shamray, winner of the 2008 Sydney International Piano Competition, in a performance of Schumann’s gloriously virtuosic Piano Quintet. The dramatic and passionate c minor Quartet of Schumann’s friend and colleague Johannes Brahms throws into relief the delicate textures of Australian composer Gordon Kerry’s Variations.
