Event Info
Aled’s talent is that he sings with his soul first, his heart second and his voice last Welsh-born
Aled Jones has led us on a astounding musical journey, from roaming through the heritage of Welsh
choral singing to a highly-successful career as a magnificent, velvet-voiced baritone. He is credited
as one of the most popular presenters on BBC-TV’s highly-successful Songs Of Praise, where his empathy
and spirituality has endeared him to over 20 million viewers worldwide.
He released 16 albums all of which went platinum or gold, and sold six million albums worldwide. He has fast become one of the UK’s biggest broadcasters with primetime shows on both Radio and Television including his flagship programme on BBC Radio 2 Good Morning Sunday. In his immense career has sung for the Pope, The Queen, and the Prince & Princess of Wales. He also sang at the wedding of Sir Bob Geldof and Paula Yates. His albums have achieved gold and platinum status. His latest release is Reason To Believe, which is the title of his forthcoming Australian tour in October 2008.
